The Summer Spot

There's a dirt pond out behind the house. It has become the "summer spot". The kids have been really excited about swimming in it. They wanted to go in January!! Earlier this spring, they put in a sealer so it would hold water better. Thanks to the rain it's been filling up rather nicely. The owners came last weekend and stocked it with fish. Now it's the "best place ever"!! We can fish and swim in the same spot, and it's all right in our back yard. Riley caught 2 fish the first day and 3 the second day. He's having a great time. The girls aren't so patient, and usually end up swimming before they catch a fish. Either way, they're all having a great time at the pond.
