Layce's Birthday

Layce turned 7 this year. She opened presents in the morning before school, and then we took a cake to the school to share with her friends. She had a Dora the Explorer Cake - you can't tell in the pictures, the figures are sizeways. Mom almost didn't make it before school got out.

Her new kitty - we went with electronic - we don't do cats and recently discovered Riley's allergic. So this is the best she gets!!

Here's her new "bigger" bike. She's only been riding without training wheels this year, and we weren't sure how she'd do on a bigger bike. She took off running and loves it!!

Over the weekend we went to visit cousin Arlen who's birthday is the day after Layce's. We all went to the YMCA since all the other public pools are closed for the season. The kids had a great time playing. They have a water slide. Last year when we went the girls weren't quite big enough to go down alone. This year they're confident enough in the water (and tall enough). They had a great time!! We had a great time visiting the cousins and hanging out for the weekend.!
