Easter

Last year we started joining some of Clint's Aunt's family for their grand Easter Bash. We get together at their farm to color eggs, hunt eggs, earn easter prizes, and shoot off boiled eggs from sling shots. It's lots of fun!! It took several years for Clint's mom to convince me to make the trip, but it's definately worth the effort!! Mostly since I don't have to color eggs in my house!! The kids have way more fun with all the other cousins, and there's no mess for me to clean up. Here's some pictures of the action. The older kids created some jousting/fighting toys which were great fun too. Riley jumped right in there with the big boys for the war. After the egg hunt (which is divided into 4 age groups) the kids count their eggs and add up any extra points hidden in the eggs. Then they get to go to the "basement store" to select prizes based on the points they collected hunting eggs. I've almost opted to eliminate the Easter Bunny on Sunday morning since they get so much stuff.

The girls got to sing a duet in Sacrament Mtg on Sunday. They sang "I Wonder When He Comes Again". Layce was very hesitant, but got up and did it anyway. They did a great job. They sound so good together, and I hope they can continue to support each other in their talents.
